I am proud to be endorsed by the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters, a union representing 27,000 carpenters, interior systems workers, pile drivers, millwrights, and industrialists across the Midwest! These skilled workers have literally been building our city's and nation's homes and infrastructure since 1881, and they stand for fair wages and labor practices, safe job sites, family-supporting benefits, and top-tier trade training and education. I'm honored to receive their trust and support to keep fighting for workers' rights here in St. Louis Park. Let's continue to safely and fairly build more affordable homes and safe, connected infrastructure here in SLP!
I am proud to be endorsed by the Sierra Club, a grassroots environmental organization! The Sierra Club North Star Chapter pairs volunteers with full-time staff to strategically address Minnesontans' most pressing environmental issues. This endorsement reflects my strong commitment to environmental protection and proven track record in key environmental issues. I am excited about the possibilities ahead of us to grow St. Louis Park cleaner, greener, and with the planet in mind!
We as a society need to do better to enact common sense gun safety policies to keep our children and communities safe from these senseless acts of violence. I am proud to receive the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction. This is a testament to my advocacy for gu violence prevention and a sign to the community that I will govern St. Louis Park with gun safety in mind.
