Small Business Support

Small Business Vendor

Local businesses power our economy. They create jobs, spark innovation, and drive growth.

Ward 1 has huge potential - Minnetonka Boulevard's redevelopment is a prime opportunity to grow our small business community, just like we've seen in Texa-Tonka, Excelsior Boulevard, and the Walker Lake District.

What I'll Do on City Council:

  • Cut Red Tape - Streamline permits and licensing so businesses can open and grow faster.
  • Boost Funding - Expand grant and low-interest loan programs, especially for women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses.
  • Offer Real Support - Connect business owners with training, mentorship, and resources to scale and succeed.
  • Foster Collaboration - Encourage partnerships between businesses, schools, and civic groups to strengthen our local economy.

Bottom Line: Thriving small businesses = more jobs, stronger neighborhoods, and a vibrant Ward 1.

Let's make St. Louis Park a hub for entrepreneurship where small businesses grow and thrive!
